Radon Mitigation Contractors in Georgia

Georgia licensing

Georgia does not require a state license or certification to test for or mitigate radon. The state radon program is the Georgia Radon Education Program, run through University of Georgia Cooperative Extension, and there are no laws mandating that a mitigator hold certification. Because there is no state credential to check, look for a contractor certified by the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) or the National Radon Safety Board (NRSB).
