Kansas requires a current state certificate to perform radon testing or radon mitigation work, under the Kansas Radon Certification Law at K.S.A. 48-16a10. Certification is issued by the Kansas Radon Program within the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and is valid for two years. KDHE publishes a public list of Kansas certified radon measurement and mitigation technicians on its Radon Professionals page.
