Radon Contractor Licensing in Maine

Maine licensing

Maine law allows only the owner or occupant of a residence, or a provider registered with the state, to test for radon or install or advise on a radon reduction system. For a home that is for sale, the testing and mitigation must be done by a registered radon service provider. Registration is administered by the Radiation Control Program at the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention, which publishes a public radon service provider lookup.
