Radon Mitigation Contractors in Maryland
Maryland licensing
Maryland does not license or certify radon mitigation contractors. State law (Maryland Environment Article, Section 8-305) only requires businesses that test for indoor radon to use a listed analysis facility and disclose results; it does not cover mitigation work. The Maryland Department of the Environment runs the state radon program and points homeowners to the National Radon Safety Board (NRSB) and National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) directories.
