Radon Contractor Licensing in Massachusetts

Massachusetts licensing

Massachusetts does not issue a state license or certification for radon mitigation professionals. The Massachusetts Department of Public Health tells homeowners to hire a mitigation specialist certified by the National Radon Safety Board (NRSB) or the AARST National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP), and it publishes monthly lists of nationally certified radon professionals working in the state. The Massachusetts Radon Hotline, 800-723-6695, can also provide a list of certified mitigation specialists.
