Michigan does not license or regulate radon mitigation contractors. The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) Indoor Radon Program states that radon testers and mitigators are not licensed or regulated in the state. Look for a contractor certified by the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) or the National Radon Safety Board (NRSB).
