Missouri does not require a state license or certification to perform radon mitigation work. The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services tells homeowners to consider working with a contractor certified through the National Radon Safety Board (NRSB) or the AARST National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP). Ask any contractor for a current certification number and for before and after radon test results.
