New York does not license or certify radon mitigation professionals. The New York State Department of Health recognizes firms certified by AARST's National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP), the National Radon Safety Board (NRSB), or the states of New Jersey or Pennsylvania, and publishes a county-searchable list of certified radon mitigation contractors. Hire from that list or verify NRPP or NRSB certification directly.
