Radon Mitigation Contractors in North Carolina
North Carolina licensing
North Carolina does not require a state license or certification to perform radon mitigation. The North Carolina Radon Program, part of the Division of Health Service Regulation at NC DHHS, does not require or regulate individual radon certifications. Ask a contractor for proof of current National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) or National Radon Safety Board (NRSB) certification, plus liability insurance and any local business license.
