Radon Mitigation Contractors in South Carolina
South Carolina licensing
South Carolina does not require a state license or certification for radon mitigation work. The South Carolina Radon Program, run by the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services Bureau of Air Quality, recommends hiring a contractor certified by the AARST National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) or the National Radon Safety Board (NRSB). Get more than one estimate and ask for a post-mitigation radon test after the system is running.
