Radon Contractor Licensing in Washington

Washington licensing

Washington does not issue a state license or certification specifically for radon mitigation professionals. The Washington State Department of Health radon program tells homeowners to hire a certified radon professional and links to the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) and National Radon Safety Board (NRSB) search tools. A general contractor performing the installation still has to meet Washington Department of Labor and Industries contractor registration requirements.
